Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in daily surface mine operations as part of the geotechnical team.
  • •Conduct field inspections in the operating open pit mine and interpret geological conditions.
  • •Use slope monitoring data to identify geotechnical risk and areas of slope instability.
  • •Support open pit slope design and execution based on geotechnical findings.
  • •Build leadership through a virtual team simulation and ongoing coaching, while collaborating with graduate colleagues to innovate solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •Commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
  • •Completed your studies within the last two years (2025, 2026) or working towards graduation in 2027.
  • •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Geological Engineering, Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, or another relevant field.
  • •Less than two years of relevant work experience.
  • •Valid driving license and experience with 3D modeling software such as Vulcan, Minesight, Rocscience, and/or Leapfrog is a plus.
