Job Summary

Drive compliance with state and local government HSE laws or regulations, as well as Honeywell HSE management system. Promote Nanjing site HSE awareness and performance, align safety practices with corporate standards, and support sustainable growth and productivity. Lead and influence cross-functional teams to implement risk controls, incident investigations, training, and continuous improvement initiatives at the Nanjing site.

Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Deploy and oversee Honeywell HSE Management Systems at the Nanjing site, ensuring alignment with corporate policy and regulatory requirements.
•Lead the deployment of HSE procedures, training, and communications with internal and external stakeholders.
•Develop and monitor risk assessment tools and control plans; direct and review emergency response drills and plans.
•Coordinate incident investigations, root cause analysis, and closure of corrective actions; monitor trends to reduce injuries and illnesses.
•Interface with contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies to ensure environmental and safety compliance and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

•B.S. in Health, Safety or Environment or related field required. Advanced degree a plus.
•Recognized certification in safety, health, or environmental field is a plus.
•Ability to lead, motivate and influence others to achieve HSE objectives with limited support staff is critical.
•Thorough understanding of HSE state and local regulatory requirements required.
•8+ years of HSE experience and strong communication skills are required.
