Job Summary

Support the compliance function for NFP Europe’s Property & Casualty Insurance entities and divisions across the UK and Ireland. Ensure day-to-day compliance with FCA and other regulatory requirements, coordinate Consumer Duty, Conduct Rules, and SMCR responsibilities, and deliver advisory regulatory business partnering to the first line of defence. Act as a liaison with external regulators and auditors, manage audit processes, monitor regulatory change, and maintain compliance records and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure day-to-day compliance with FCA and other relevant regulatory requirements, including timely filings, notifications, and reports.
•Administer compliance systems and tools (policy portals and training platforms) and coordinate implementation of Consumer Duty Rules, Conduct Rules, and SMCR responsibilities.
•Provide regulatory business partnering and pragmatic guidance to the first line of defence (1LOD) and operational departments.
•Liaise with external regulators and auditors, prepare documentation for inspections and audits, and manage external and internal audit processes.
•Monitor regulatory change, interpret new regulations and insurance legislation, maintain compliance policies and records, and escalate potential compliance risks to senior management.
