Lead civil transportation client engagement and work winning across WSP’s Civil Business Unit, driving regional growth or nationwide coverage in civil transportation. Own pipeline confidence, win probability, capture planning, bid quality, and strategic opportunity conversion. Deliver winning proposals for priority pursuits, embed best practices to improve visibility and excellence, shape win themes and commercial strategy, and partner across teams to cross-sell new offerings and secure major opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide leadership to promote growth and ownership for client engagement and work winning within an agreed region or across all civil transportation regions.
•Manage and strengthen the opportunity pipeline to improve sustainable workload, long-term business performance, and business planning.
•Lead capture planning and deliver winning proposals for strategic opportunities, personally leading priority pursuits from early positioning through submission.
•Embed best practice and lessons learned to improve pipeline visibility and work winning excellence across the regional client portfolio.
•Drive win themes, client messaging, and commercial strategy; develop strategic client plans and support bid/no-bid decision-making.

Key Requirements

•Strong civil engineering, transport, and/or infrastructure experience with established networks across clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
•A track record securing new work through capture planning, client insight, market positioning, competitor understanding, and proactive bidding.
•Experience using client insight, market intelligence, and competitor understanding to shape positioning and improve win probability.
•Strong commercial awareness and a robust understanding of public and private sector procurement.
•Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and challenge senior colleagues and present compelling proposals.
