Job Summary

Perform preventive and repair maintenance on production machinery to keep high-quality film production running safely and continuously. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process issues, provide 24/7 technical support, and inspect production lines to determine maintenance needs. Assist with installation and upgrades, maintain clean work areas and building/grounds, document work in the work order database, and support contractors and team efforts to address scrap, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

•Follow safety, quality, and attendance policies; report safety hazards and participate in plant safety programs.
•Troubleshoot, repair, and correct mechanical, electrical, and process problems to maintain production equipment capability.
•Provide 24/7 technical support for production and inspect production lines and support equipment for maintenance needs.
•Assist with assembly, installation, disassembly, and demolition of production and support equipment for upgrades or new installations.
•Document work performed in the work order database and coordinate with contractors; maintain neat, orderly work areas and building/grounds.

Key Requirements

•Knowledge of a specialized field through specialized training equivalent to one year of college or trade school, or equivalent experience of four to five years preferred.
•Two to four years of experience in industrial electrical repair, including drives, instrumentation, and process controls for high-speed production equipment.
•PLC troubleshooting and programming experience.
•Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with little or no supervision.
•Ability to read mechanical and electrical/engineering blueprints, drawings, and schematics and troubleshoot/repair mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.

Education:Associate's in electrical or electro-mechanical technology
