Job Summary

Shape and execute TikTok’s public policy strategy in Brazil, focusing on tech infrastructure and data center policy. Represent TikTok before government officials, regulators, and external stakeholders; monitor political, legislative, and regulatory developments; and provide risk assessments and executive-ready policy analysis. Partner cross-functionally across Infrastructure, Legal, Regulatory, Communications, and CSR to advance policy outcomes that support sustainable infrastructure growth and TikTok’s long-term objectives in Brazil.

Key Responsibilities

•Represent TikTok before elected officials, government agencies, ministries, civil society organizations, academic institutions, and other stakeholders on policy issues relevant to TikTok and its priorities in Brazil.
•Translate global infrastructure priorities into a locally grounded Brazil engagement plan to shape TikTok’s data center public policy strategy.
•Proactively identify emerging policy, political, and regulatory developments and provide timely analysis, risk assessments, and recommended actions to internal stakeholders.
•Coordinate with external engagement on data center and infrastructure-related policy matters with officials, regulators, industry associations, trade groups, public interest organizations, and academics.
•Prepare policy analysis, briefing materials, advocacy strategies, internal updates, and escalate policy risks and stakeholder concerns to drive coordinated decision-making.

Key Requirements

•Extensive professional experience in government, politics, technology policy, or related civil society work, with cross-disciplinary knowledge across these areas.
•Strong understanding of Brazil’s political system, legislative process, and regulatory issues affecting data centers, digital infrastructure, and digital platforms (taxation, industrial policy, energy, environmental licensing, investment incentives).
•Experience monitoring legislative and regulatory developments, drafting policy recommendations, preparing executive briefing materials, and supporting government advocacy strategies with direct stakeholder engagement.
•Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive execution across multiple internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
•Established network within Brazil’s technology policy, infrastructure, government, or regulatory ecosystem.
