Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and mature WPP’s technology risk management framework, processes, and operating rhythms.
  • •Lead risk assessments, scenario analysis, risk-based decision making, and maintain technology risk registers with remediation tracking.
  • •Produce management reporting and risk insights for senior stakeholders, including dashboards and analytics-driven reporting.
  • •Partner with Enterprise Security, Cluster-aligned Risk & Controls, Controls Assurance, Internal Audit, and Legal to improve risk visibility and control effectiveness.
  • •Recruit, lead, coach, and develop a technology risk team across India and the UK, and drive improvements through automation, workflow optimization, and agentic AI.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong experience in technology risk, IT risk, cyber risk, technology governance, assurance, or IT audit.
  • •Experience operating within large, complex or multinational technology environments.
  • •Strong understanding of technology controls, ITGCs, cloud technologies, infrastructure, identity, service management, and resilience.
  • •Demonstrable experience developing risk reporting and leadership insight.
  • •Proven experience leading and developing teams with strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
