Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead design and delivery of project documents and specifications to meet requirements and due dates
  • •Collaborate with architects and co-professionals at project inception to establish briefs
  • •Assist in project lifecycle documentation (QA, CDM, archiving) and mentor junior colleagues
  • •Support team members and participate in design reviews and staff development reviews
  • •Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with clear communication across project teams and stakeholders

Key Requirements

  • •Achieved, or are approaching, Chartered Engineer status (MIStructE / AIStructE / MICE), or have relevant equivalent experience
  • •Sound knowledge of structural engineering principles, analytical techniques, design software, and the application of Eurocodes
  • •Excellent communication skills and experience producing clear engineering deliverables
  • •Interest in low carbon design and embodied carbon assessment to inform decisions
  • •Experience in quality assurance of project deliverables including checking calculations and drawings
