Key Responsibilities

  • •Read production schedules and orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • •Transport, sort, and store materials within the establishment; load and unload palletized and non-palletized product.
  • •Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets; mark materials with identifying information.
  • •Weigh or count items for distribution and perform cycle counts; record amounts received and distributed using a computer.
  • •Follow safety and hygiene procedures, keep work areas clean, and support continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S.
