Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on the company fleet and third-party aircraft per BCAA regulations and company requirements.
  • •Supervise assigned technicians, certify work performed, and obtain required company certification authorization as needed.
  • •Support AOG recovery and attend when operationally required to accompany aircraft for maintenance tasks at short notice.
  • •Maintain self read/write continuation training and attend training; sit company technical boards for aircraft type certification.
  • •Ensure tools and equipment are serviceable, properly registered, checked before/after tasks, and tools are isolated/tagged when unserviceable; comply with airside safety rules.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 7 years’ experience in aviation maintenance and 3–5 years as a fully qualified certifying engineer.
  • •Valid AME license recognized by BCAA and Gulf Air QA, endorsed with type rating on two of the company aircraft.
  • •Completed recognized aircraft engineers apprenticeship/formal training.
  • •Computer literate, and fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • •Ability to certify routine and non-routine maintenance tasks within company approval, and certify third-party work when authorized.
