Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in building large-scale e-commerce recommendation algorithms and systems, including commodity, live-stream, and short-video recommendations.
  • •Build long- and short-term user interest models and design algorithms to explore users’ latent interests.
  • •Design, develop, evaluate, and iterate on predictive models for candidate generation and ranking, including CTR/CVR prediction.
  • •Design and build supporting/debugging tools, and support production of scalable, optimized AI/ML models.
  • •Run experiments to test deployed model performance, identify and resolve bugs, and work with the platforms where models are deployed.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • •Strong programming and problem-solving ability.
  • •Experience with applied machine learning and familiarity with recommendation/ML algorithms such as collaborative filtering, matrix factorization, factorization machines, Word2vec, logistic regression, gradient boosting trees, deep neural networks, and Wide & Deep.
  • •Experience with deep learning tools such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • •Experience with at least one programming language such as C++ or Python (or an equivalent language).
