Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and lead a team of technicians overseeing operations, equipment maintenance, and repair in manufacturing facilities.
  • •Own safety, quality, scheduling, and on-shift conflict resolution among staff and stakeholders; act as first responder for on-shift issues.
  • •Drive factory workflow through streamlining processes and establishing tactical plans to meet production schedules within quality and cost objectives.
  • •Ensure optimum performance for safety, quality, output, and cost via staffing, training development, and retention; manage staffing, shift rotations, PTO, and overtime/backups.
  • •Develop long-term strategies for manufacturing operations capabilities; partner with engineering teams to resolve problems impacting factory operations and health.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 2+ years of relevant professional experience, including at least 1 year leading a team of technicians.
  • •Strong engineering or technical background.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field (e.g., Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related).
  • •Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage stress well.
  • •Willingness and ability to work onsite in Kulim and work shifts as required.
