Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the data and DMP layer end to end, from event streams ingestion to segment/audience computation and analytical stores feeding targeting and reporting.
  • •Build and maintain a stream-first ingestion and processing pipeline without falling back to batch.
  • •Define how raw signals become targetable audiences: compute, store, refresh, and expose them to the serving path.
  • •Specify work as explicit, self-sufficient issues and edit/validate AI-produced code with strict quality gates, including documented schemas and data contracts.
  • •Drive correctness, freshness, and reliability across real-time, high-velocity systems; surface problems proactively and document governance artifacts.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years building data or backend systems in production with ownership of pipeline reliability and correctness.
  • •Experience with streaming and stream-vs-batch tradeoffs, including event modeling and schema evolution.
  • •Comfort working with a compiled systems language; the codebase is Rust (Rust, Go, C++, Scala or similar).
  • •Working knowledge of analytical data stores and SQL, with DMP/ad-data or audience/segmentation experience a plus.
  • •Strong ability to frame data problems and tradeoffs, communicate them, and specify work clearly for AI execution.
