Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement material management strategies, policies, and procedures to comply with FAR Part 52.244 and DFARS 252.244-7001, including hiring and training talent, increasing efficiency, and implementing systems for government property and inventory management
  • •Implement end-to-end material management measures (FIFO, variances, cycle time, scrap/obsolescence, cycle/physical counting, audits) and develop key metrics
  • •Collaborate with procurement, production, manufacturing engineering, logistics, and quality to aid in demand forecasting, procurement planning, and timely delivery of materials
  • •Collaborate with production planning and manufacturing teams to align material availability with production schedules and meet customer demand on time
  • •Analyze material usage trends and implement lean practices to optimize handling, storage, and distribution

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or equivalent work experience
  • •12+ years of experience in material management, inventory control, or supply chain management roles in complex engineering/manufacturing companies
  • •3+ years of experience managing a lead of supervisors, associates or technicians
  • •Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
  • •Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA
