Job Summary

Develop and manage relationships across a large Commercial Real Estate portfolio, originating and executing complex transactions. Drive revenue growth by generating loans and deposits, cross-selling applicable bank products and services, and identifying opportunities with both existing customers and non-customers. Underwrite and assess credit requests, ensure proper documentation and reporting, stay current on industry trends and regulations, and oversee or support less-senior relationship managers and program participants.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain key Commercial Real Estate client relationships and manage relationships for maximum profit potential.
•Originate and execute large, complex Commercial Real Estate transactions, including producing and maintaining profitable loan volume and cross-selling bank services.
•Qualify prospects and lead business development efforts to create new opportunities from both prospects and existing customers.
•Underwrite credit requests by approving loans within lending limits or recommending approvals requiring higher authority; monitor customer and industry performance as loan risk inputs.
•Ensure proper risk reporting and documentation; coordinate client-facing activities with relevant partners (e.g., Treasury Management) and support development of junior relationship staff.

Key Requirements

•Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree preferred.
•8-10+ years of experience in Banking, Finance, or a related field.
•4+ years of Commercial Real Estate experience and sales management experience preferred.
•Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with negotiation and analytical ability.
•Demonstrated sales and negotiation experience, strong credit training, and underwriting skills preferred.
