Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, splice, and test copper cables for projects, maintenance, and emergency repairs.
  • •Perform reel, continuity, and conformance testing using industry-standard equipment (e.g., OTDR, T-Berd).
  • •Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair existing copper networks, locating and resolving faults to ensure service continuity.
  • •Install, configure, and enable residential and small business telecommunication services such as POTS, HSI, VDSL, FTTH, and networking.
  • •Connect and manage wiring/cabling, terminals, and hardware attachments on customer premises, poles, and inside facilities.

  • •Read and interpret service orders, tickets, blueprints, diagrams, and maps to execute work

  • •Ability to climb and work at elevations and lift heavy objects (over 75 lbs)
  • •Valid state driver’s license; may require CDL and DOT testing
