Job Summary

Lead a logistics team of 15–25 employees onsite in Andover, driving warehouse workflow, schedule and cost execution, and daily performance metrics. Own audit readiness, manage aging work, coordinate with other warehouse areas, and oversee 3PL providers. Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, production control, finance, and program management to achieve cost/quality/delivery and safety goals, using lean and Six Sigma to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute schedule and cost plans while measuring and maintaining key performance metrics.
•Maintain audit readiness and manage warehouse workflow, including monitoring and resolving aging work.
•Coordinate with other warehouse areas, including RMD sites and 3PL providers, and work across logistics departments to share resources and cross-train the workforce.
•Lead safety responsibilities and participate in safety improvement discussions.
•Drive continuous improvement using Six Sigma and lean methodologies, identify root causes, and develop/implement corrective action plans.

Key Requirements

•University degree or equivalent experience, plus at least 2 years of relevant experience with technical or operational practices.
•Experience in production, manufacturing, operations, logistics, warehouse, and/or supply chain.
•Ability to obtain an Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date.
•Experience using lean manufacturing concepts and lean/Six Sigma implementation projects.
•Experience supervising employees in an aerospace/defense industry and strong communication skills.
