Key Responsibilities

  • •Use industry-leading computer software to support a range of bridge-specific engineering work.
  • •Contribute to structural design and bridge assessment across project stages.
  • •Perform or support finite elements analysis and structural inspections.
  • •Support structures renewal feasibility studies and contribute to scheme-related planning.
  • •Assist with on-site works supervision and scheme management tasks as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 classification (or equivalent) or above.
  • •Ability to demonstrate a good technical understanding of Civil & Structural Engineering.
  • •Demonstrable interest in Bridge Structures Engineering and developing a career in this industry.
  • •Willing and able to work towards chartership with the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) or Institute of Structural Engineers (IStructE).
  • •Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
