Key Responsibilities

  • •Design video analysis (ROI, content understanding, feature extraction) and quality assessment algorithms, including participating in database creation and algorithm design/optimization.
  • •Help design end-to-end video quality optimization strategies using combinations of video analysis, processing, and encoding algorithms such as frame-level rate control.
  • •Apply algorithms for VOD and live streaming monitoring, including data analysis and objective evaluation of algorithms.
  • •Collaborate with infrastructure and multimedia platform teams to integrate algorithms into production workflows.
  • •Validate algorithm impact through A/B testing.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently completing or recently completed a PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
  • •Strong programming, debugging, and optimization skills in one or more general-purpose languages, including C/C++ and/or Python.
  • •Knowledge of image/video analysis or objective/subjective video quality algorithms.
  • •Experience with deep learning or machine learning and familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as Tensorflow or PyTorch.
  • •Ability to commit to an onboarding date by the end of the year, and clearly state availability and graduation date in the resume.
