Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and lead technical delivery and manage commercial and resource aspects of demanding projects with minimal supervision
  • •Demonstrate leadership and contribute to management of the structural engineering team through business development, client relationship management, technical leadership or team development
  • •Lead preparation of technical reports conveying complex structural concepts to clients and stakeholders
  • •Lead technical client relationships and play a major role in business development
  • •Lead independent technical reviews of work prepared by others and mentor colleagues in their professional development

Key Requirements

  • •Chartered Engineer with ICE or IStructE (Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering)
  • •Proven experience in analyzing and designing seismically qualified structures
  • •Ability to engage with safety case interfaces within the nuclear sector
  • •Track record of successful project delivery within defence contexts
  • •Excellent communication skills with the ability to write proposals/reports and present to clients
