Job Summary

Implement, operate, and improve cybersecurity solutions by partnering with business and IT teams to develop security processes and continuously strengthen CarMax’s security posture. Key Responsibilities

•Implement, develop, operate, and improve cybersecurity solutions.
•Provide functional and technical cybersecurity expertise on projects requiring security services.
•Develop and continuously improve security-related processes and procedures by gathering information from business and IT teams.
•Drive cybersecurity tasks and projects to successful completion using project management, customer interaction, and IT coordination.
•Triage support problems and respond according to urgency; participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and support after hours as needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 80,600 - 120,900 annually

Key Requirements

•1-5 years of experience in information security operations.
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
•Experience with network security technologies including firewalls, proxies, network access controls, intrusion detection/prevention, and routing.
•Familiarity with identity concepts (authentication, authorization, governance) and Data Loss Prevention, plus secure coding and configuration standards.
•Functional proficiency with at least one scripting/coding language (PowerShell, Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.) and working knowledge of Windows Server and Linux; cloud experience (SaaS/IaaS/PaaS) preferred.
