Key Responsibilities

  • •Diagnose transformer failures and engineering change request (ECN) issues to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • •Perform hands-on troubleshooting, tear-down, inspection, and repair on transformers returned from production or the field.
  • •Disassemble, evaluate, and document components to determine repairability, reuse opportunities, or disposition requirements.
  • •Conduct mechanical and electrical testing to validate failure modes and confirm repair effectiveness.
  • •Maintain accurate repair and investigation records and partner with Quality, Engineering, Production, and Service on continuous improvement efforts.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required.
  • •Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, assembling, or troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical equipment.
  • •No employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position (including CPT, OPT, STEM OPT, and other listed statuses).
  • •No relocation is being offered; candidates must live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility.
  • •Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, hydraulic, or industrial equipment is preferred.
