Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyse regulatory developments and engage relevant stakeholders to support implementation across multiple regulatory areas.
  • •Provide 2LOD challenge, advice, and oversight across the bank’s products, and manage the regulatory developments lifecycle.
  • •Deliver written and verbal briefings to business stakeholders (including Group Ex-Co and Board level) and support senior management ahead of regulatory engagements.
  • •Maintain a comprehensive record of regulatory obligations, track and escalate as required, and manage regulatory reporting inventory and schedules for the UK business.
  • •Implement and embed risk management frameworks for regulatory compliance, review policies/procedures, and represent Regulatory Compliance in internal projects at the Innovation Bank and wider Group.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience working in Compliance in banking/financial services across a range of products, with strong subject matter expertise.
  • •Thorough understanding of how regulations are interpreted, including PSR, BCOBS, DISP, SMCR, CRDVI, MiFID, and COBS.
  • •Experience managing regulatory engagement and supporting regulatory/change projects.
  • •Excellent relationship building and communication across seniority levels, including with regulators and senior management.
  • •Strong ethics and values with judgement and critical thinking, handling confidential and sensitive matters.
