Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical leadership across rail track and infrastructure projects.
  • •Lead and undertake reviews of rail track designs, including third-party design submissions.
  • •Support project teams in achieving design objectives and delivering integrated engineering outcomes.
  • •Develop and champion value engineering and innovation opportunities throughout project delivery.
  • •Provide specialist rail engineering advice to support contract administration and construction activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Approximately 10+ years of professional experience in railway engineering.
  • •Proven experience delivering freight and passenger rail infrastructure projects within Australia or internationally.
  • •Strong knowledge of railway planning, alignment design and track engineering principles.
  • •Experience using Bentley OpenRail, 12D Track or similar rail design software.
  • •Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Chartered status (CPEng), RIW accreditation, or ability to obtain them.
