Key Responsibilities

  • •Scope and spearhead AI augmentation and automation projects across the product surface area, including classification, data extraction/summarization, content generation, search/Q&A, and process prediction.
  • •Stay current on emerging AI methods and guide model/technique selection, including open-source vs. proprietary and custom fine-tuning approaches.
  • •Establish research strategies with rigorous experimentation and evaluation focused on accuracy, consistency, interpretability, and real-world impact.
  • •Develop novel algorithms and techniques for NLP, data extraction, and autonomous reasoning, including few-shot learning, agentic reasoning, and multimodal interaction.
  • •Decipher and automate complex, branching, path-dependent workflows for insurance coverage, affordability programs, and fulfillment.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong programming skills and general Computer Science knowledge.
  • •Research background in ML/NLP demonstrated by publications in top-tier conferences or significant open-source contributions.
  • •Experience solving complex ML problems (e.g., data-efficient learning, reasoning agents, multi-step workflows) and deploying solutions in production.
  • •Deep understanding of modern ML methods, including transformer architectures, attention mechanisms, reinforcement learning, and multimodal models, with proficiency in PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
