  • •Identify, structure, negotiate, and underwriting new credit opportunities for Private Banking clients.
  • •Build trust with clients, learning new concepts and researching information in real-time to provide creative solutions.
  • •Handle risk and portfolio management with credit products.
  • •Provide support to Private Banking relationship managers and business heads as the go-to credit expert.
  • •Communicate credit decisions and recommendations clearly to clients and colleagues to secure approvals.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in underwriting from start to finish credit memos for credit products including Lending secured by marketable securities, single stock, unsecured, Commercial Real Estate, residential mortgages, Hedge Funds, Private Equity Capital Call (PECC/Subscription facilities), art, financial sponsors, unlisted shares (privately held stock), Life Insurance Premium Finance (LIPF), music rights lending, CAT B Foreign Exchange (FX) and derivatives lending; Underwriting includes cash flow analysis, collateral analysis and personal financial statements.
  • •Create Credit memo that discusses transaction summary, structure of loan, covenants, collateral, financials spreads, risk and mitigants, strength and weakness, documentation, recommendation.
  • •Client facing experience and dealing with Private Bank High Net Worth Clients
  • •Familiar with a credit analysis, relationship building and Microsoft Office
  • •You’ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role: underwriting experience across listed and alternative credit products and ability to discuss loan structures with Private Banking clients.
