Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, and maintain firmware for embedded controllers (ARM Cortex-M/A, ESP32, NXP, Microchip, etc.) and develop features such as outlet switching logic and energy metering integration
  • •Develop and validate communication protocols (SNMP, Modbus TCP, BACnet/IP, MQTT, HTTPS/REST) and ensure security with TLS and RBAC
  • •Address system safety and power event handling (overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage) and coordinate UL/IEC safety behavior
  • •Integrate sensors and bus interfaces (I2C, 1-Wire, RS-485, RS232) and enable plug-and-play sensor enumeration
  • •Implement diagnostics and management capabilities (event logs, power history, dual-image firmware upgrade, watchdog)

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of relevant experience
  • •Strong proficiency in embedded C/C++
  • •Hands-on experience with AC mains concepts, energy metering, and RMS calculations
  • •Experience with SNMP, Modbus TCP, or industrial protocols
  • •Familiarity with FreeRTOS or similar RTOS
