Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals and order parts while diagnosing root causes and corrective actions.
  • •Practice safe job practices to repair and maintain pump, power, and HVAC equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures in the shop and at customer locations; handle repairs on-site when required.
  • •Set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sites, working individually or with other technicians as needed.
  • •Maintain complete daily paperwork/electronic documentation; assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts and help train lower-level technicians.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Experience calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and reading/knowing schematics.
  • •Ability to use laptops and tablets comfortably, with superior customer service and teamwork communication skills.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a 10 panel drug screen; EPA 608 certification is preferred (obtain within 6–12 months if needed).
