Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and implement health, safety, and security policies and procedures in compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
  • •Design and deliver training programs for managers, employees, and contractor partners on site work practices.
  • •Analyze accident causes and hazards and recommend mitigations to prevent occurrences.
  • •Mentor and develop the health, safety, and security team and manage the partnership with the project security provider.
  • •Lead audits, inspections, and risk assessments; contribute to H&S&S guidelines and facilitate program improvements.

  • •Bachelor's degree in health and safety or another relevant discipline.
  • •Significant experience in health, safety, and security technical responsibilities in operational or major project environments, including surface and underground work.
  • •Experienced, inclusive leader with a coaching mindset to motivate and support others.
  • •Knowledge of risk management, emergency response or mines rescue programs, and familiarity with MSHA and OSHA.
