Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and validate new or improved mechanical products, processes, and techniques by assessing feasibility and engineering test/product/equipment soundness.
  • •Coordinate project activities with other engineering/operating units to ensure appropriate staff participation and successful project completion.
  • •Review and maintain accurate project-related documentation and determine project objectives that support comprehensive project design.
  • •Provide technical soundness of design decisions and product changes to facilitate manufacturing, reduce cost, improve quality, and support customer needs.
  • •Plan/execute design strategies to reduce implementation cycle time and cost, manage certification and laboratory testing, and support EHS monthly safety inspections and training.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor degree in Industrial, Electronic or Electromechanical Engineering (or similar); Master’s degree preferred.
  • •5–7 years of experience in similar Lead Mechanical Engineer roles.
  • •Bilingual: English/Spanish.
  • •Strong computer skills including MS Office and CAD tools such as PROE, SolidWorks, AutoCAD (with drawing interpretation); familiarity with AS400.
  • •Knowledge of SPC (Statistical Process Control), Lean, 6 Sigma, and ISO9001.
