Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete as-built inspections and provide reports and direction as required
  • •Provide mark out surveys in accordance with the survey plan
  • •Use 3D models for set out and as-built comparisons
  • •Understand and interpret product build tolerances and measurement equipment capabilities
  • •Assist the Dimensional Control Manager by providing guidance to shipbuilders via reports and on-site guidance

Key Requirements

  • •Certificate III or higher in Surveying or relevant surveying experience
  • •Ability to complete as-built inspections and provide reports and direction as required
  • •Relevant trade qualification and/or applicable background in engineering, cadastral or civil, drafting, or 3D modelling
  • •Experience using total stations or laser trackers and exposure to AutoCAD and 3D surveying software
  • •Must be eligible to be cleared for ITAR regulations and eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance
