Key Responsibilities

•Design and build a telemetry SDK that is easy to instrument, reason about, and extend, enabling broad adoption across product teams.
•Drive deep technical work in the browser stack, covering performance APIs, rendering, and the network layer.
•Define and measure telemetry for AI-driven, AI-native experiences where traditional frontend telemetry doesn’t capture the full picture.
•Set telemetry SDK direction by establishing architecture, patterns, and the roadmap from current measurement to future needs.
•Stay hands-on as a Staff engineer by leading with code and collaborating cross-functionally (frontend, backend, data science, analytics engineering).

•Built or significantly evolved a production frontend telemetry, observability, or instrumentation system at scale.
•Operate naturally at the browser layer, including performance APIs, rendering pipeline, and network execution.
•Worked on frontier problems where established playbooks don’t fully apply and you shape the approach through experimentation.
•Demonstrated cross-team influence by building tooling other engineers adopted at scale.
•Production depth with React and TypeScript, plus experience with state management (MobX or equivalent) and frontend observability patterns (tracing, metrics, RUM).
