Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and expand the HVDC PMO function, including direct oversight of PMO delivery for Western Link 2.
  • •Manage and grow a team of PMO and project controls professionals across multiple UK locations.
  • •Establish PMO best-practice standards, governance frameworks, and a consistent approach to project controls.
  • •Oversee planning and scheduling, reporting, risk management, change control, and document management activities.
  • •Drive adoption of digital tools and data-led decision making, and support executive reporting and portfolio performance reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience leading PMO, project controls, or programme management for large-scale infrastructure/engineering/EPC or energy projects.
  • •Proven success building, developing, and leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams.
  • •Strong knowledge of governance, project controls, reporting, risk, change management, and project assurance.
  • •Experience with NEC4 and/or FIDIC contract environments on major capital projects.
  • •A recognised project management qualification such as APM or PRINCE2 (or substantial relevant experience).
