Key Responsibilities

•Execute and support BMS and EPMS health in mission-critical environments across building systems and campus delivery.
•Lead small-scale projects such as BMS subsystem retrofits and EPMS hardware/software deployments for specific data halls or electrical rooms.
•Identify and address performance gaps in BMS logic and power monitoring (e.g., Modbus TCP scan rates, data logging latency) in collaboration with Senior Engineers.
•Support commissioning (L3 to L5) of mechanical and electrical systems, validating field sensors/controllers against Sequence of Operations and EPMS reporting.
•Resolve complex onsite control and monitoring issues including PID loop instability, BACnet communication bottlenecks, RS-485 breaks, IP conflicts, and incorrect CT ratios.

Key Requirements

•3 to 5 years of experience in Instrumentation & Controls or Electrical Engineering with exposure to building automation/management systems and/or power monitoring/SCADA in data centers or large industrial facilities.
•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering (or equivalent technical field experience).
•Working knowledge of HVAC sequences (Chilled Water, DX, Evaporative Cooling) and control hardware plus power monitoring hardware like protection relays and gateway devices.
•Familiarity with Modbus (RTU and TCP/IP), MQTT, and DNP3 in a mission-critical environment; experience with PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) and Ignition for SCADA.
•Ability to lead small-scale projects/tasks within a building and know when to escalate complex cross-building issues under moderate supervision.
