Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end EVB hardware bring-up, validation, and qualification activities in the lab.
  • •Perform initial board power-up and verify power rails, sequencing, clocks, resets, and interface behavior.
  • •Lead hands-on debugging and root-cause analysis of board-level and ASIC-related hardware failures.
  • •Use schematics and PCB layout data as primary debugging tools, including review of PCB manufacturing data during investigations.
  • •Conduct detailed lab measurements and coordinate with SI/PI and FPGA/BSP-SW teams; document procedures, findings, and workarounds; support manufacturing/assembly debug.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • •4+ years of hands-on hardware engineering experience with board bring-up and debugging for ASIC/FPGA platforms.
  • •3+ years actively performing measurements and analysis using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, VNAs, and power supplies.
  • •Ability to read and interpret complex multi-sheet hardware schematics and correlate schematic signals to PCB layout.
  • •Experience with high-speed PCB principles and signal/power integrity troubleshooting on boards with >6 layers or multi-gigabit interfaces.
