Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design management and delivery of ports and maritime infrastructure projects, including port expansions, marine structures, coastal infrastructure and waterfront developments.
  • •Own and manage packages of work, taking accountability for scope, program, technical delivery and client outcomes.
  • •Coordinate with AECOM teams across Australia and globally, leveraging design capability to deliver complex maritime infrastructure projects and act as the client interface with port authorities and government agencies.
  • •Manage project delivery end-to-end, including design and commercial management, programme coordination and multidisciplinary technical integration.
  • •Provide leadership across maritime and coastal engineering disciplines, ensuring designs align with industry standards and best practice, and mentor engineers to strengthen delivery teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience as a Design Manager, Technical Lead, Project Manager or Senior Engineer within ports, coastal or maritime infrastructure projects.
  • •Strong experience managing multidisciplinary design teams across complex maritime infrastructure projects.
  • •Experience delivering design and planning for ports, marine structures, coastal infrastructure or waterfront developments.
  • •Demonstrated ability to own and deliver packages of work within major infrastructure programs.
  • •Strong client engagement and stakeholder management skills, particularly with port authorities, government agencies or major infrastructure clients.
