Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and execute process, equipment and material evaluation/optimization initiatives, implementing changes at process steps.
  • •Participate in continuous yield improvement and cost reduction activities, validating and qualifying new process baselines for new product introductions.
  • •Support SPC/FDC/RMS/APC and site-to-site portability, and manage or audit material suppliers to meet quality, cost, and risk management objectives.
  • •Develop new or modified process formulations and define equipment requirements/specifications, compiling test data to set appropriate process/material limits and variables.

Key Requirements

  • •Employer will accept a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Physics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • •Strong systems analysis and design, organizational design, and product life cycle administration.
  • •Knowledge of quality engineering, assurance sciences, reliability, maintainability, quality control, and robust design.
  • •Industrial experimental design skills including statistical data analysis, model building, factorial experiments, and response surface methodologies.
  • •Lean thinking principles and lean manufacturing quantitative modeling.
