Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise and direct all shift production employees to ensure safety compliance, quality standards, and production targets are met.
  • •Lead safety engagement, investigate stoppage incidents with perceived imminent safety risk, and complete incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
  • •Drive risk assessment activities and prioritized corrective/preventive actions; conduct required safety meetings and communicate safe work expectations.
  • •Ensure training and development of assigned employees, set unit goals, motivate and coach through performance feedback, and coordinate additional training as needed.
  • •Manage shift execution: ensure machines run per traveler instructions/specifications, maintain production and log-book records, and provide reports to the Technical Manager and/or Plant Manager.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience (Cast, Blown film extrusion, or film converting experience preferred).
  • •Ability to implement, train, and administer general safety practices and participate in safety meetings.
  • •Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, written, and leadership skills with a positive professional attitude.
  • •Ability to coordinate multiple tasks, exercise good judgment, and adapt to a changing work environment.
  • •High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required (2–4 year degree preferred).
