Job Summary

Build and sustain a culture of learning for production associates as part of the Workforce Development Team. Collaborate with Tech III, supervisors, and cross-functional partners to support on-the-job training, verify training completion and sign-offs, and improve or introduce new courses. Host classroom group training, provide reporting, and check in with new hires to support a successful first 90 days while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Help build a culture of learning for production associates.
•Support on-the-job training to ensure correct material and properly conducted training, including verification of associate sign-off with experts.
•Collaborate with associates, Tech III, and supervisors to advance training across safety, quality, technical, problem solving, 5S, and leadership.
•Facilitate introduction of new training and host classroom group training sessions.
•Collect data, provide reports, and check in on new hires to support their first 90 days.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 21.3 - 29.81 hourly

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or GED required.
•3 months of First Solar experience as a Production or Coater Team Lead with supervisor endorsement, or 6 months of First Solar manufacturing experience plus 6 months in leadership, training, or customer service, or 12 months external manufacturing experience plus 6 months in leadership, training, or customer service.
•Passion for training.
•Technical competence in production areas (FE, FIN1, FIN2, or FIN3).
•Demonstrated ability to properly train others and communicate effectively (oral and written) with peers and management.
