Job Summary

Review engineering change order (ECO) approvals across design spaces, focusing on coding and manufacturability for the full product range. Guide responsible designers on KEM design and coding concepts, coordinate clarifications, and ensure complete approvals and correct scheduling of documentation and production change measures.

Key Responsibilities

•Review ECO (engineering change order) approvals across design spaces for coding and manufacturability across the product range.
•Analyze dependencies and interconnections among assemblies and modules, translating them into functional coding.
•Ensure geometric manufacturability of assemblies across the product portfolio using digital mock-ups (DMU).
•Provide guidance to responsible designers on suitable KEM design and coding concepts, and correct execution of coding.
•Coordinate clarification needs and ensure completeness of approvals within change packages, including assigning issues to documentation projects, production change measures, and deadlines.

Key Requirements

•Diploma/BE in Mechanical, Electrical & Automobile engineering
•5-10 years of experience in the automotive industry
•Knowledge of commercial vehicle product systems & aggregates and vehicle development processes
•Excellent knowledge of component encoding across code levels, including Boolean Algebra and truth tables
•Experience with DMY tools (e.g., NX/UG/CATIA), installation space analysis (DMU), and engineering change management/documentation
