Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify hazards using the Oldcastle Near Miss Potential Hazard program and assist employees in correcting hazards and establishing safe practices.
  • •Work with operations and management to develop corrective and preventative actions to eliminate hazards and track progress through incident investigations.
  • •Use accepted methods to inspect, sample, and test aggregates, asphalt, concrete, or other materials for quality control.
  • •Operate production machinery as needed to prepare product samples and sample/test mixtures for compliance with contract specifications.
  • •Maintain safety records, prepare safety reports, and support permit application preparation and permit compliance while entering safety data into Oldcastle’s software.
