Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform inspections on projects of moderate to increased complexity and/or scope, including site conditions, equipment, construction, materials, and systems to determine conformance with applicable rules, standards, codes, and permits.
  • •Generate and substantiate reports and documentation regarding equipment, construction, materials, integration, and operation specifications.
  • •Provide technical guidance and support to ensure proper inspection, construction, and functioning of facilities according to design specifications.
  • •Act as consultant regarding work progress and problem resolution; may lead inspection staff for project scopes within a district.
  • •Write technical reports summarizing inspection findings and conclusions, including photographs, sketches, calculations, and drawings.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma.
  • •11+ years of relevant post-education experience in construction inspection.
  • •Essential professional licensure/certification(s).
  • •Valid state driver’s license.
  • •Advanced knowledge of construction inspection principles, field inspection practices, processes, methods and techniques.
