Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and fabricate mechanical, electrical, and sensor prototypes to support research experiments and engineering development.
  • •Translate experimental requirements into buildable hardware systems in collaboration with researchers.
  • •Build full prototype systems across concept, CAD, fabrication, wiring, sensor integration, and validation.
  • •Design and iterate fixtures, jigs, test rigs, and custom tooling to enable research workflows.
  • •Evaluate components for integration and troubleshoot hardware failure modes in real-world environments; document designs and test results.
