Job Summary

Answer customer inquiries and take orders in a fast-paced office, supporting distributors, developers, contractors, and installers. Provide support by phone, fax, and e-mail for price quotations, product availability, returns, billing corrections, order changes, and cancellations. Generate price quotes and sales orders, use product catalogs and specification guides to recommend related products, coordinate delivery with Dispatch, and provide support to the outside sales team as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Receive customer phone calls and support customers via telephone, fax, and e-mail for quotations, product availability, orders, returns, billing corrections, and order changes/cancellations.
•Provide product information and generate price quotations and sales orders in a timely manner.
•Refer to product catalogs and specification guides to determine related product uses and applications.
•Provide support to the outside sales force.
•Investigate customer inquiries and concerns and follow up promptly; retrieve information for the Credit Department and coordinate delivery with Dispatch.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Some previous sales experience, preferably in the construction industry.
•Experience with Microsoft Office.
