Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive AI assurance and embed “Secure by Design” principles within development teams to build a strong AI culture.
  • •Lead vulnerability management activities and initiate remedial actions with the Enterprise AI team.
  • •Develop security requirements (including epics and stories) and provide guidance/governance to squads for data protection in new and existing products.
  • •Coordinate security assurance for proposed solutions in line with data processing requirements and Thales/customer risk appetites.
  • •Support technical security measures, including system accreditation and re-accreditation, and conduct formal technical risk assessments with recommended remediation.
  • •Serve as a central point of contact for UK Digital Competency Centre technical security matters and engage with security stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience providing technical security support across a range of systems and applications.
  • •Ability to analyze and advise on security implications for new and existing systems/applications and proposed changes.
  • •Strong capability to interpret system design documentation, identify security risks, and define mitigation strategies for secure, compliant solutions.
  • •Experience aligning security activities with compliance requirements and supporting security architecture/services risk management while maximizing business value.
  • •Possession of recognized security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSK, or equivalent.
