Job Summary

Join the CAE manufacturing team to assemble, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot F16 flight simulators at Edwards AFB, supporting U.S. government contracts. You’ll work with integrated multi-computer and display systems, perform preventative maintenance, and install updates to equipment, contributing to safety, precision and mission readiness. Only U.S. citizens are eligible and a Top Secret clearance is required or in-scope.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform duties in electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, or optical areas in support of F16 Flight Simulators (ATD) located at Edwards AFB, CA.
•Calibrate, install, maintain, repair, and test flight simulators, and other support equipment.
•Install changes and updates to simulators and support equipment as required.
•Perform readiness checks on flight simulation equipment and instruments and conduct preventative maintenance checks.
•Troubleshoot, repair, and document malfunctions; remove and replace faulty equipment; assist with installation and check-out of modifications.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree preferred in electronics or a two-year electronic technician program and/or 4 years of military electronic training with equivalent electronics maintenance experience.
•Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
•Ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow written or verbal instructions to perform duties on complex equipment.
•U.S. citizenship is required for this role; only U.S. citizens are eligible.
•Must be able to walk, climb stairs/ladder into a simulator or cockpit, and perform physical tasks as described.
