Key Responsibilities

  • •Technically and organizationally lead the physicians’ team and conduct employee annual reviews to support development
  • •Create duty and vacation planning and coordinate staffing with the area leadership, including weekend and night coverage
  • •Oversee and improve processes and quality standards in the medical area, and manage collaboration with key interfaces such as Auslands-Assistance and the claims/benefits area
  • •Provide medical assessment, advice, and care for acutely ill or injured persons during international travel, including coordination and medical clearance for repatriations
  • •Represent the medical assistance organization to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders and provide sales support and medical advisory input

Key Requirements

  • •Approbation as Arzt / Ärztin
  • •Facharztanerkennung or several years of clinical experience with direct patient care
  • •Very good English proficiency in speaking and writing (other languages are an advantage)
  • •Strong communication skills, social competence, and confident professional presence
  • •Experience in leading employees and in process and quality management (advantageous)
