Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive continuous improvement across tax operations, focusing on automation and technology adoption.
  • •Support day-to-day tax operational activities, primarily corporate taxes, with opportunities across VAT and employment taxes.
  • •Use technology such as robotic process automation, machine learning, and dashboard tools to ensure compliance and enhance efficiency.
  • •Partner with Shared Services, Finance teams, and the outsourced filing provider to monitor compliance filing deadlines and deliver high-quality tax data.
  • •Support wider tax compliance and advisory work, including corporate tax, RDEC, capital allowances, Pillar Two, transfer pricing, employment tax, and VAT, while ensuring governance requirements are met.

Salary: GBP 60,000

Key Requirements

  • •ATT qualified (or equivalent) as a minimum; CTA qualification is desirable.
  • •Experience working in an in-house tax team or a professional tax services firm (Big 4 experience advantageous).
  • •Proven experience using tax technology and data tools to improve processes and efficiency.
  • •Knowledge of tax compliance areas including UK and international corporate tax, and related topics such as RDEC, capital allowances, Pillar Two, transfer pricing, employment tax, and VAT.
  • •Ability to actively manage CPD and maintain breadth of technical skills.
