Job Summary

Experienced Geologist/Hydrogeologist to interpret subsurface conditions, develop conceptual geologic models, and support hydrogeologic investigations for WSP’s Environment, Remediation, and Water Team. Lead/assist in data analysis, modeling, client relations, and business development across Redmond, Seattle, and Portland offices. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality technical output and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Interpret subsurface conditions and develop conceptual geologic models using Leapfrog Geo or Leapfrog Works by Seequent;
•Analyze geologic and hydrogeological data and prepare reports;
•Provide technical support for geologic/hydrogeologic investigations, modeling, site models, and related tasks;
•Build and maintain long-term client relationships by delivering high-quality, cost-targeted consulting services;
•Engage in business development activities including client contact, presentations, proposal writing, and society participation.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrology, or Engineering
•Minimum of 3 years of experience developing geologic models and conceptual site models using Leapfrog Geo or Leapfrog Works by Seequent
•Minimum of 5 years’ experience; preferably in a consulting practice
•Strong all-around academic knowledge of physical geology and hydrogeology
•Proficiency and familiarity with soil and rock logging procedures; groundwater sampling, monitoring well installation, and hydraulic conductivity testing
