Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute supplier qualification and identify gaps in supplier quality systems to improve overall supplier performance.
  • •Follow up, evaluate, and work on approvals of PPAP from external and internal suppliers across electrical sector sites.
  • •Investigate and resolve supplier technical and/or system issues related to product/process realization to ensure effective closures.
  • •Analyze supplier issues and use statistical/analytical tools to drive supplier improvement and CAR/CAPA/process efficiency.
  • •Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for requirements clarification, support process transitions with accurate documentation, and lead projects/serve as SPOC for multiple sites and customers.

Key Requirements

  • •BE in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering.
  • •Minimum 4-8 years of experience in supplier development and quality and manufacturing/process engineering.
  • •Knowledge of problem solving and CI tools including Six Sigma, Kaizen, A3; APQP, PPAP, Core Tools, GD&T, and AIAG.
  • •Working knowledge of supplier change management (process and systems) and statistical tools including SPC and Gauge R&R.
  • •Familiarity with manufacturing processes and special processes (e.g., PCBA/transformers, molding, precision machining, casting/forging/stamping; heat treatment, coating, plating) is preferred.
